To care for it:
• Remove the dressing 24 hours post-treatment. Continue applying Solugel to the treated area twice daily for 10 days following the procedure.
• Keep the area clean and dry.
• Avoid touching, scratching, or applying unapproved products to the area.
• Stay out of direct sunlight and avoid excessive heat exposure.
• Shower as normal the following day, but avoid using soaps, active skincare products, or exfoliants on the treated area.
• Avoid swimming, saunas, or activities that could irritate the treated skin.
• Avoid any physical activity that causes excessive sweating.

Day 2–3: Protecting treated area

The initial inflammation begins to subside, but the skin is still sensitive.

• Cleanse the area gently with lukewarm water. Pat it dry with a soft towel, avoid
rubbing.
• Apply an approved healing ointment such as Solugel or Vaseline to the area.
• Reapply a clean bandage if necessary, especially if the area is exposed to dirt or friction.

Day 4–7: Monitor for normal side effects

By now, scabs, blisters, or peeling may occur as part of the natural healing process.

• Continue keeping the area clean and applying Solugel to the area twice daily.
• Do not pick at scabs or pop blisters. Allow them to heal naturally to prevent
scarring.
• Continue to avoid swimming, saunas, or activities that could irritate the treated skin.

Week 2: Protect the skin and observe the changes

The area begins to look more like normal skin, though some residual redness or dryness may remain.

• Continue to apply sunscreen SPF 30+ or higher to the treated area and keep it covered with clothing when exposed to the sun.
• Continue to avoid any physical activity that causes excessive sweating.
• Watch for any unusual signs, such as excessive redness, tenderness, or discharge, which may indicate infection.

Week 3–8: Maintain healthy skin habits

During this period, the body breaks down ink particles, and the skin is recovering completely.

• Keep the area protected from the sun.
• Stay hydrated and maintain a healthy diet to support your immune system.
• Schedule your next laser tattoo removal session only after the skin fully recovers, usually after 8 weeks.
